Made for Johnny Wendling · October 2026 · Draft, nothing is live yet

RustFix · for your review

Johnny, here's your new look.

A commercial, a new website, clips ready to post and a flyer for the counter. All of it talks to the same two people: the owner who was just told their truck is junk, and the mechanic who sent them.

Your voice, from your own videos, cleaned up.

Your new website

One page. Plain words. Built so fewer people have to call you while you're under a truck.

  • "Is my frame worth saving?"Four taps, and the customer gets a straight answer and which photos to take.
  • Photos come to you, not callsThey send photos and their number. You get one text: truck, problem, where the rot is.
  • Missed a call? Handled. The caller automatically gets a text with the photo link, and their voicemail comes to you as a text.
  • Mechanics send you jobsA shop can text you a frame job in ten seconds and keep the customer.

Clips ready to post

Cut from your own videos. Big captions, because most people scroll with the sound off. Every one ends on your number.

Your answers

Thanks. Here's what I did with each one.

  1. Cell, texts OK. The site, posts and videos all say "call or text."
  2. Your channel, OK to reuse. Every clip is cut from your videos.
  3. Your voice. The commercial uses your own narration, cleaned up.
  4. Warranty. Written terms are drafted for your review: the 5-year warranty and the Tacoma sign-off sheet. A lawyer looks before they go on the site.
  5. Keep the RustFix name on posts. The trademark question gets sorted on the business side.
  6. Tacoma clip is in. Tacoma jobs get a short sign-off sheet for the customer about Toyota's position.

Who to call first

1,162 shops, inspection stations, dealers, tow yards, fleets and parts counters within about 60 miles, all in Pennsylvania. Start with ten.

  1. Csencsits Auto Service, Hellertown. A mile away. Repair and state inspection.
  2. Superior Auto Service, Hellertown. A mile away. Inspections and fleet work.
  3. Chrin's Bear Wheel Alignment, Easton. PennDOT-certified for rebuilt trucks. Alignment shops see bad frames first.
  4. Pasquariello's Auto Shop, Northampton. PennDOT-certified for rebuilt trucks.
  5. JMD Auto Repairs, Allentown. PennDOT-certified for rebuilt trucks.
  6. Austin's Auto Service, Bethlehem. State inspections.
  7. The Garage – Complete Auto Care, Allentown. Inspections and suspension work.
  8. Kris Snyder Automotive, Allentown. Used trucks with a service shop. Can send you trade-ins and buy fixed trucks.
  9. Countryside Auto Sales & Service, Coplay. Sells pickups and has a service shop.
  10. Lehigh Valley Auto Auction, Whitehall. Rotted trucks get wholesaled here. One relationship reaches a lot of dealers.

What to ask: "When you fail a frame or call a truck junk, send the frame job to me. You keep the customer for everything else." Referral only. Body shops on the list are marked "wait": they're future class students, and that talk waits for the lawyer.

Phone numbers and sources are in the full list, each checked October 2026. It's a sales asset, so keep it off public posts.

Protecting your method

The 2022 videos put the method in public, so a patent is likely out. What protects the business is a name you own, a written system and signed agreements with anyone you train.

  1. Patents are mostly off the table. The videos are more than a year old, and frame sectioning is already published by I-CAR and the car makers. The one exception: a tool, jig or trick you made yourself that has never been shown or sold. Don't show it to anyone until we talk.
  2. Your name is the real moat. A program name that's clearly yours and properly registered. About $350 to file.
  3. Your manual is yours. Copyright is automatic. Registering it is $45 to $65, worth doing before you hand it out.
  4. Secrets stay secret. Anyone who takes the class signs a short agreement not to share or reuse the material. No non-compete: one wouldn't hold up in Pennsylvania for a one-day class.
  5. Show results, not how-to. Keep new posts and videos to before and after until this is set up.

Research for our lawyer meeting, not legal advice. I'll bring the full brief when we sit down.
