5-Year Limited Warranty
Our written promise on the repair below. "We" means Rustfix LLC. "You" means the vehicle owner.

What we cover
We cover only the repaired areas listed above:
- The new steel we installed: rails, outer skins, crossmembers, and patch sections.
- The welds that join our new steel to your frame.
We cover these failures:
- A weld cracks, breaks, separates, or rusts through.
- Our new steel rusts through. That means a hole all the way through the metal. Surface rust and coating wear are not rust-through.
How long it lasts
Coverage starts on the date the work was completed and lasts 5 years.
Who is covered
The warranty stays with the vehicle. If you sell it, the next owner gets the rest of the 5 years. The new owner needs the work order, or we can look it up by VIN.
What we will do
We will repair or redo the failed work at our shop. We charge nothing for the parts or labor of that repair. If a repair is not possible, we will refund what you paid for the failed section, as shown on your work order.
What we do not cover
- Rust or damage on any part of the frame we did not repair. This includes original frame metal next to our welds.
- Damage from an accident or collision.
- Damage from abuse, racing, or off-road impacts.
- Damage from carrying or towing more than the vehicle's rated limits.
- Damage caused by someone else's work on the repaired area, such as welding, drilling, cutting, or lifting.
- Rust-through caused by skipping the care steps on this page.
- Fire, or a vehicle that was under flood water or salt water.
- Bolts, brackets, bushings, and other hardware. These may carry their maker's warranty.
Keep your work order
Your work order lists exactly what we repaired. It is the best proof of coverage, so keep it with the vehicle. If you lose it, we will look it up by VIN.
Care steps
- Rinse the underside with fresh water at least once a month from December through March.
- Rinse it again after driving on salted or flooded roads, or on a beach.
- Do not weld, drill, or cut the repaired area without talking to us first.
We do not need proof of your rinses. We will only deny a claim under this rule if skipping the care caused the failure.
We offer a free yearly check of your repair. It is optional.
How to make a claim
- Call or text 267-276-5814 before the 5 years end. Tell us what you see.
- Bring the vehicle and your work order to Rustfix LLC, 2511 Apple Street, Hellertown, PA 18055 (also our mailing address), at a time we set together.
- We will inspect it at no charge. We will tell you if the claim is covered, and if not, why.
- If it is covered, we will fix it within a reasonable time.
Other costs
We do not pay for towing, rental vehicles, travel, lost time, or loss of use. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Nothing in this warranty limits a claim for injury to a person.
Implied warranties
Any implied warranty, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, lasts only for 5 years from the date the work was completed. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Your rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
It does not change your other rights under Pennsylvania law.
