The name
Write it RustFix: one word, capital R and F. Never "Rust Fix", "Rustfix" or "RUSTFIX" in anything new.
Before you put money into the name: the 2020 RUSTFIX trademark filing (USPTO serial 90073271) was abandoned, and Sherwin-Williams holds live "RUST FIX" marks for products (USPTO, checked Oct 18, 2026). Using it on your own shop is one thing. Printing it on signs, shirts or a program for other shops should wait until a trademark lawyer has looked.
The logo
There's no drawn logo. The name, in a classic serif, is the logo. "Rust" in black, "Fix" in brass.
RustFixOn white: ink + dark brass #927A2D
RustFixOn black: white + brass #D4BC6C
- Font: Georgia Bold (comes on every computer and phone). A sign shop can match it with any classic serif.
- Leave space around it. Don't stretch it, outline it, add flames, rust textures or a wrench.
- Never put brass text on white for small print. It's too light to read. Use the dark brass.
Colors
Black, white and brass. That's it.
Ink#16140F
White#FFFFFF
Brass (buttons, on black)#D4BC6C
Brass mid#B89A45
Dark brass (text on white)#927A2D
Light background#F7F5F0
Type
- Headlines: Georgia Bold. Short. "Rusty frame? Don't junk it yet."
- Everything else: the phone's normal font (Helvetica, Arial). Big enough to read in a parking lot.
How RustFix talks
Like a mechanic talking to someone who just got told their truck is junk. Plain, honest, no hype.
Say it like this
- "Don't junk it yet."
- "We cut out the rot and weld in new steel."
- "If it isn't safe to save, we'll tell you."
- "Send photos. Get a straight answer."
- "Frames are all we do."
- Mechanics: "Send the frame job. Keep the customer."
Never say
- I-CAR, "certified", "certification" (until documented)
- "Franchise", "license", "partner program" (lawyer first)
- "Will pass inspection", "guaranteed to pass"
- Prices, "cheapest", "best price"
- "Best in PA", "#1", "proprietary", "secret method"
- "Like new" for a frame
- Promises to shops about jobs or income
Claim rules
| Claim | Can we use it? |
|---|---|
| 4.9 stars on Google, 58 reviews | Yes. Checked Oct 18, 2026. Update the number when it changes. |
| Frame repair only, Hellertown PA, by appointment | Yes. |
| 5-year written warranty | Only after Johnny signs off on the written terms: what it covers, what voids it. |
| I-CAR / certified | No. RustFix isn't in I-CAR's Gold Class shop locator (checked Oct 18, 2026). If Johnny holds personal training, show the certificate first and we'll word it exactly. |
| Toyota Tacoma frame repair | Careful. Toyota does not approve frame sectioning (Toyota CRIB #155 / I-CAR CRN-565). Never use a Tacoma as the lead example. Tacoma owners get "call first, we'll talk through your options." |
| Training program for shops | Not yet. Needs attorney review before any public mention. |
Photos and video
- Before and after from the same spot, same angle. That's the whole story in two pictures.
- Show the frame, not the shop floor. Get under it, get close, use a work light.
- Poke the rot with a screwdriver on camera. People believe that.
- No customer plates, faces or house numbers without their OK. Blur them.
- Shoot vertical for phones (Shorts, Reels, TikTok). Horizontal only for YouTube long videos.
- No stock photos. Every picture is a real RustFix job.
